My name's Luke. Last year, my girlfriend left me. I was devastated, I didn't know where to turn. But I knew one thing, I was going to get her back, no matter what it took.

And get her back I did. It was a long journey, and I took many many wrong turns along the way. But through determination and a lot of help, I managed to get her back.

One thing that really struck me while I was going through what was the hardest time of my life, was just how little help there was. Sure, lots of people have been through the same thing, and friends try and be sympathetic. But there's hardly any real help.

That's why I pledged to myself that when it was all over, when I had got my girl back, I was going to start something to help other people in the same situation.

And so that's what I've done, and that's why this website exists! Well actually it didn't start with the website, it started with my newsletter.

The newsletter started out as an occasional email to others I knew were in the same situation I'd been in; people I thought I might be able to help. But it quickly grew!

Now my email newsletter is read by more than six thousand people around the world, and there are more people joining us every day. We're like a little community, sharing tips and ideas. And more than that, through my emails we share support for one another. Everything is anonymous, nobody else knows that you've joined, and your name and email address stop with me - that's my golden rule.
